Renaissance Faire Meet-up.

I am finally starting to go through all my photos on my two SD cards, although totally out of order. The next massive photodump I am going to do on this blog will be for things that happened a couple months prior to this event! My whole timeline is screwed up, aaugh.

I try to go to a Renaissance Faire every year, and this is my second year at this particular one! It was a total blast. It's a bit on the smaller end due to the venue, but I absolutely love how everything is so shady and covered with trees.

But first off, what I wore! (Just a quick sidenote, you'll see that my hands are always obsessively touching my hair... That's because I was just not able to find the pins I needed to secure the hairstyle that morning but I stubbornly went to the meet-up anyways with the impractical 'do. So in pretty much every photo I'm trying to redo it or just holding it in place, FFFFF.)

With this, my LookBook folder has gone around full circle with its dates! The first photo I posted for my LookBook was dated for April 5, 2012, and this photo was taken a year and a day later! Time has flown. I wore one of my most elegant pieces in my wardrobe with elf ears and a crown! I ended up looking totally different by the end of the day because I had glitter splashed on my face by a fairy, horns that I purchased from that same fairy, and then I ended up getting my hair braided.

Follow-up on Palty Dye+Root Touch-up Bleach!

Lately my schedule has been fantastic after adopting a new dog (I'll do a post about her soon enough), since she wakes me up right at 7 am (much to my boyfriend's dismay). I'll probably post updates super early in the morning now so I can have the rest of the day to study for my LSAT and run errands. =)

Today, I'm going to continue my previous review about Palty Milk Tea Brown dye--as well as one of their other products, root touch-up bleach! (Excuse the iPhone photos, ALL of my cameras batteries ran out at the same time, so I had to make do with what I have.) These photos have not been edited at all except to add watermark.

Palty Hair Bleach and Dye Review!

Cross-posted from my Tumblr--excuse the mismatched watermarks.

As promised, I finally sat down and made a review for Palty products. I've always admired them from afar, but never trusted myself to be able to dye my own hair, so I continued to spend tonnes of money having my hair dyed at a salon. To cut corners I went to a Hair Institute, where students work on your hair, and was able to have my hair done for significantly cheaper. Sadly, the last time I went, I got someone very unfamiliar with my hair, and he ended up dying my hair back to its miserable black when I tried to have it re-toned. After getting a few quotes from hair salons that it would be nearly $300 to have it bleached and re-dyed again, I decided to just take the plunge and purchase the dyes and recruit my boyfriend to help me. I picked up Palty "Sparkling Blonde" Hair Bleach, and Palty "Milk Tea Brown" Hair Dye.
