And we held hands and looked up at the sky in the center of that city?

Despite the overt cuteness of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's music videos, I really find a deep personal meaning in her songs when I actually listen closely to her lyrics. They're just so uplifting, and aside from being great fun to dance to and a lot of fun to watch, they can even make your heart feel better.
Lately I feel like my style has been more inspired by her, I really love how she just tends to slap on anything and pulls it off so well--she really proves that it's all about confidence when wearing fashion.
Not to mention I found an amazing quote she said on Tumblr the other day.
“Basically, ‘aomoji-kei’ is about wearing whatever you want to wear without caring whether or not you look attractive, cute, or sexy. Many times, people who wear aomoji-kei fashion tend to switch between different styles a lot just depending on whatever they like and what they think is fun, so that’s why it may seem like there’s no definitive look for it :)”I think this is exactly the kind of outlook people should take when looking at fashion! Just have fun, don't be afraid to try different styles, and don't try to focus so much on defining it--although she did end up coming up with a label for it anyways... But it's still really nice to see it summed up so well!
Drawing inspiration from her, I also have started to really enjoy making more faces in pictures--it's always so much fun to do things like this!
Why should you look so serious all the time?? Fashion is first and formost--an outlook to have fun and enjoy life. And no one wants to make something fun a tedious effort for themselves. Make faces, enjoy life, and you will automatically look fantastic in your photos.
Love this post! You rock! ^^
